Thomas Miller appoints chief operating officer

Insurance services provider Thomas Miller has appointed Ann Haugh as its chief operating officer.

In this newly created role, reporting to Thomas Miller’s CEO, Bruce Kesterton, Haugh will be primarily responsible for the provider’s organisational efficiency and the development of an operational infrastructure that supports its growth objectives in insurance services.

Haugh is an experienced global senior insurance executive with more than 24 years of experience in strategy, operations and general management.

Previously, she was was a member of the group executive committee at Aspen Insurance Group, where she was president of international insurance, and global chief operating officer.

Prior to Aspen, Haugh worked at Zurich Insurance where she was croup chief of staff and CEO of global corporate UK.

Bruce Kesterton, CEO of Thomas Miller, said of her appointment: “This is a significant, board level, appointment for Thomas Miller and we believe Ann’s experience will greatly enhance our operational efficiency.”
