Tim Wallis is a full time independent mediator and his “day job” is mediating personal injury, clinical negligence, commercial, insurance, property, and professional indemnity claims and probate disputes. He specialises in multi party, difficult and “un-settleable” claims. He is a former litigator, and a director of a number of mediation companies. Tim recently led Trust Mediation’s successful tender bid to conduct personal injury and clinical negligence mediations under a new NHS LA mediation scheme. He is chairman of two organisations requiring an independent chair with mediation skills: Claims Portal Limited and the ABI’s GTA Technical Committee (credit hire). Tim contributes the ADR sections of “The White Book” and other text books. He commissioned the publication of “The Jackson ADR Handbook” on behalf of the CJC and is a member of the CJC’s Online Dispute Resolution Advisory Group. He has an interest in international work and the application of technology to dispute resolution.
