Simon Stanfield has been the Chair of the Motor Accident Solicitors Society (MASS) since November 2016. With nearly 20 years of experience within the legal sector, specialising in high-end road traffic accident cases, Simon is Head of the RTA Department at Simpson Millar, practising from their Manchester office. He was recommended in the Legal 500 United Kingdom 2016 edition as showing “excellent attention to detail coupled with a willingness to always go that extra mile”.
A member of the MASS Management Committee since 2012, he served as Vice Chair for two years and completes his second year as MASS Chairman in October 2018. He has led MASS’s campaign against the Government’s proposed programme of changes to whiplash claims and sits on the Ministry of Justice’s Whiplash Reform Steering Group.
When not working hard to get the justice that road traffic accident victims are entitled to, Simon is a keen sports fan, readily admitting to being a season ticket holder at Aston Villa. He has two daughters, aged nine and eleven.
