TERMS AND CONDITIONS

£240 + VAT Early bird rate

The following terms and conditions apply for all Barker Brooks Events

The Fee covers attendance at the specified event

Changes to features of the event (including speakers) may be necessary due to events outside our control and Barker Brooks therefore reserves the right to make any necessary amendments to the programme or content of the event.

The views of any speaker appearing at the event will be the views solely of the speaker concerned and Barker Brooks will have no responsibility for them.

Barker Brooks reserves the right to cancel the event at any time in which case any payments already made by you will be refunded in full. Barker Brooks does not accept any liability for resulting or indirect losses that have been incurred (travel/accommodation).

Payment is required upon receipt of invoice and prior to the event. Failure to pay any sums due by the specified date will permit Barker Brooks to cancel this agreement by written notice to you and without refund.
Without exception, all fees must be paid in full prior to the event. In the event of a ticket cancellation, the customer will be liable for the following charges and all cancellations must be received in writing to Barker Brooks offices. For cancellations received 3 months prior to the event a full refund will apply; within 2 months of the event a 50% refund will be made and if cancellation is received within 1 month we regret that no refund can be made. Substitute delegates are welcome at no extra charge but we request that you advise us of any substitutions within 72 hours prior to the event. VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate.

Late payment. We understand and will exercise our statutory right to interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 if we are not paid according to our terms or any agreed variation. Interest will accrue at 4% above UK base rate on a daily basis from the earlier of the due date or 28 days from invoice date.

Barker Brooks will hold your contact details on its database. Your data will never be sold or released to a third party to use for their own purposes. Barker Brooks will retain your data and will use it only to provide information that may be of use to you in the future.

Payment method – Barker Brooks accept payment via cheque to Barker Brooks, via BACS transfer or by debit/credit card. Any credit card payment over £500 will incur a 2% surcharge.
