Loss adjuster McLarens has strengthened its teams in Ireland and opened a new office in Galway.
The move is the latest in a period of sustained growth for the adjuster’s operations across both Ireland and Northern Ireland, which also includes offices in Belfast, Cork, Derry and Dublin.
Heather McIlveen and Miriam Lee have joined McLarens in Galway and Dublin, respectively, while new recruits Carmel Spaight and Gareth McGlinchey will be based in Cork.
McIlveen has joined as an executive adjuster from Sedgwick to lead the new McLarens Galway office. She has 18 years of experience working in the investigation and handling of a variety of liability losses, including personal injury, defamation, professional indemnity and third-party property damage.
Lee has joined the McLarens Dublin team as an executive adjuster from Sedgwick and has 10 years of experience in liability claims.
A qualified solicitor, Lee moved into loss adjusting early in her career and has gained experience in the management of a large portfolio of claims, with a focus on claims involving professional indemnity, motor, liability (property and casualty) and with specific expertise in defamation, bullying harassment and claims arising from festivals. She also worked extensively in specialist sports claims.
Spaight is also an experienced liability adjuster, with 17 years of experience in the field. Joining the Cork office as an executive adjuster from DCLA Ireland, she brings experience in the investigation and handing of a variety of liability losses including personal injury, motor, third-party property damage and defamation cases.
McGlinchey has joined McLarens as an adjuster, also from Sedgwick. A senior property adjuster, he has 11 years of experience working in property claims.
Steven Wallace, executive director responsible for Ireland, commented: “Our All Ireland businesses has gone from strength to strength and I’m delighted to welcome these four talented adjusters to the McLarens team. Each are experienced, highly-respected professionals with the technical expertise and local knowledge that our clients demand. Our new Galway office further consolidates McLarens’ footprint in the Republic of Ireland. Geographically we can offer full on-the-ground regional coverage, on both sides of the border, and this is something that we know is increasingly important for both the local and London markets.”
