Retailer B&M has appointed Yorkshire law firm Gordons to handle its nationwide defendant personal injury brief as the business continues to grow.
B&M has been a Gordons client for the past 15 years. During that time, the firm has sourced and secured more than 500 B&M stores, and advised on various other matters.
The firm’s defendant personal injury experts will provide B&M with counsel across all aspects of employer and public liability, while also delivering a comprehensive claims handling and risk mitigation service.
Commenting on Gordons’s appointment, B&M chief executive Simon Arora said: “Gordons is a law firm that knows retail. They have played an important role in our growth to date and will continue to do so.”
Earlier this year, B&M posted a 25.4% increase in pre-tax profit to £229.3 million, with revenue increasing by 22.4% to £3 billion.
Gordons managing partner Paul Ayre said: “We are proud to be part of B&M’s continued success story. This latest appointment is testament to the fact that we are able to think and act in line with the most dynamic of retailers.”
