Spinal surgeon Brian Gardner was recognised for his contribution to the sector with the Lifetime Achievement award, particularly his work across many legal cases.
Commenting on the Personal Injury Awards, Claims Media editor Mark Dugdale said: “This event marked exactly one year since I began covering insurance claims. And it’s been evident since then that personal injury in particular has undergone significant change in the recent past, and will continue to do so in the short, near and long term.”
Despite all of this change, I’m incredibly impressed that the personal injury sector has been able to remain true to its core purpose. Everyone is focusing on the importance of a strong, resilient sector that responds to the needs of injured parties, while ensuring that their access to justice, that most basic of human rights, not only remains, but becomes easier still.”
