CPP Group UK, the managing general agent and insurance product and services provider, has partnered with NPA Insurance (NPAI) to run the claims and 24/7 emergency helpline service for its new key insurance offering.
PharmaKey is an insurance policy that covers the locks and lost keys for business premises. It will be underwritten by NPAI, and CPP will handle the processing and fulfilment of key replacement claims on its behalf.
The new key insurance product is an inclusive benefit to members of the National Pharmacy Association, with CPP providing each business premises with two branded, durable fobs that can be attached to keys, as well as a reward-incentivised repatriation service and insurance cover backed by a 24/7 emergency helpline to pay for a 24/7 locksmith.
Any claims and emergency onsite callouts will be carried out by fully qualified mobile locksmiths from CPP’s UK-wide, 24-hour service provider network, with 24/7 claims support managed by CPP’s UK operations centre, where it already provides assistance services to over half a million UK customers.
Carl Carter, chief executive officer of CPP Group UK, commented: “Pharmacies are a local lifeline for many, and the fact that they are at the forefront of providing healthcare in their communities demonstrates just how critical they are to the nation’s health. These businesses are looking now more than ever to maximise their operational efficiency and minimise unnecessary stress or downtime—our 24/7 reliable helpline and claims support can help to provide that extra layer of reassurance.”
“We’re proud to be working with NPAI to bring our vast experience in claims handling and the 24/7 key assistance sector to this vital industry, and to deliver genuine value for these mission-critical businesses at both their time of need and that of the local communities that they serve.”
Paul Coleman, managing director at NPAI, added: “We are always looking for ways to support our members and to help them manage their risk. CPP has created a first-class proposition specifically for our pharmacists, enabling them to get back up and running securely and to continue to provide their patients with essential healthcare services.”
