Julia Graham, CEO at Airmic

Julia Graham is CEO of Airmic, the association for everyone who has a responsibility for risk management or insurance in their organisation. Julia has been a risk and insurance professional for more than 40 years, as director of risk management and insurance for global law firm DLA Piper, and prior to that, as head of strategic risk, insurance and compliance for insurer, RSA. Julia is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a fellow of the Business Continuity Institute. A past president of FERMA, the Federation of European Risk Management Associations, she is currently a board member of IFRIMA, the International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations. She is a non-executive director of four captive insurance companies domiciled in Guernsey and a Crown Representative for insurance and risk management (as part a Cabinet Office network which acts as a focal point for particular groups of providers and sectors looking to supply to the public sector). Julia’s guilty pleasure is ‘fast cars’ (she drives a nifty sports car and is a big fan of Formula 1). Julia has two daughters who throughout her life have tried and totally failed to keep her in order!
