Sue Carter has over 30 years banking experience, with the last 15 predominantly focussing on the Professional Services Sector. Throughout her banking career, Sue gained Lexcel accreditation and then went on to obtain a Certificate in Law Firm Management with Nottingham Law School. Sue has also completed a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Legal Practice Management at Nottingham Law School, one of only three front line bankers in the country to have passed this top legal qualification.
Sue joined Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks in January 2011 to take on the position of UK Head of Professional Services Sector at a time when the legal landscape was seeing some radical changes. Sue has responsibility for leading the Bank’s on-going development and implementation of its sector strategy, whilst providing advice on topical issues such as coping strategies, expansion, mergers and acquisitions both internally and externally.
